The Minack Theatre - Cornwall The internationally famous Minack Theatre is a unique open-air theatre, created by Rowena Cade from the cliffside at Porthcurno. Rowena Cade, interestingly, was Fiona Nicolle’s great Aunt. (If you have not worked out the connection, Fiona and Martin Nicolle own Classy Cottages). Fiona’s mother remembers her aunt Rowena building the theatre in the 1930s. In the early productions all were pulled in to help and to perform. Visit the Minack theatre for an afternoon performance. The Minack Theatre is not far from Land’s End so the two visits can be combined. Full details in our cottages. Only 65 miles from our self catering holiday cottages in Polperro.
